Lemon-Honey Chicken Thighs with-Honey Oros Maxaira

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 500g skinless, boneless chicken thighs
  • 1,5 tbsp olive oil
  • ½  tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 small thinly sliced shallots
  • 2  tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey Oros Maxaira
  • 1 tsp oregano

Method:

  1. Heat a large non-sticky skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to pan andswirl to coat. 
  2. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Add chicken to pan; cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until browned . Transfer to a plate; keep warm.
  4. Add shallots to pan; reduce heat to medium, and cook 2 minutes or until beginning to brown and soften, stirring frequently.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons water, juice, and honey to pan; bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Return chicken to pan, turning to coat. 
  7. Sprinkle evenly with oregano, and serve immediately.
